Mahnaz Maddahfar
Mahnaz is currently completing her Ph.D. in Bio-Nanotechnology at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), collaborating with the University of Sydney. She is exploring a new library of a mass tag to improve the sensitivity of mass cytometry by using lanthanide-doped nanoparticles (LnNPs). Part of her project is, developing methods to generate high-quality conjugation between nanoparticles and antibodies. This work is one of the flagship examples in translating the latest generation of nanoparticles into clinically advances in high throughput single-cell analysis platforms.
