Dr Edward Abadir is a staff specialist clinical and laboratory haematologist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as well as a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney. He is a member of the bone marrow transplant and CAR T cell teams. Edward studied medicine at the University of Sydney and completed his haematology training in NSW. He undertook a PhD examining novel targets in acute myeloid leukaemia and developing immunological conditioning agents to facilitate bone marrow transplantation. His laboratory interest is in diagnostic flow cytometry and he serves as the lead for minimal residual disease testing at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
